Customizing background is one of the effective way to change the feel of your theme.
Last week, one of the readers, Azzam, asked how to change background color in Thesis Theme. Although it is not difficult, but I think it is better to create a tutorial to explain the idea of changing background color in Thesis Theme.

Custom 404 error page is your only chance to turn a lost visitor into a reader of your blog. Thesis Theme has a special function to handle 404 error page. It’s a semi-custom page as it does keep with your theme and design, but it only show “You 404′d it. Gnarly, dude.” to your visitors. You may want to change the wording a little bit to show your own personality and suitable for your brand image.

Chris Pearson has just released a new version of Thesis Theme, there are a few new and excited features being added. But the fundamental is still the same. The theme has been designed in such a way that it is very flexible and easy in customization.
In this post, I’m going to show you how to add logo in the header of Thesis Theme. By default, Thesis Theme is displaying blog title and tagline in the header. It’s rather ugly and you can make a change to your blog in order for it to stand out from the crowd.
