is long tail keywords really effective for better ranking? If you been struggling for a year for putting long tail keywords in your website but ranking still not improving. It will be a waste for all the effort that putting in.

You should choose 1 primary keyword (lucrative keyword) plus several long tail keywords. So when you’re optimizing your web page, you can target several keywords. Since long tail keywords are generally easier to rank, they will get to the top of search engine first. When your web page get older and you get enough inbound links to your web page, your primary keyword will start to get better ranking.

Question, you used a long tail keyword to reach the top ranking and all of a sudden you will change that to a more lucrative one? I’m confused! You reached the top for that certain long tail keyword changing that would be like a major reset, right? Can you provide an example of a keyword?

When you’re fairly new and are still playing in Google’s sandbox, it is important to work very hard while being extremely patient. Work hard to push out great content frequently, but understand that rankings & traffic won’t happen right away.

Above all else…PLAY NICE! If you do something to try to help your SEO that your mother wouldn’t approve of, then chances are Google won’t like it either (and they will put you in a permanent timeout)…
