WordPress is the best blogging platform and software you could find in the world. I have been using WordPress since I started my first blog. I never regret using WordPress and I believe you are the same. Whether you believe or not, I knew nothing much about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and WordPress SEO at the time I first started my blogging journey.

My Blog Was Struggling

Back in year 2007, I started my first blog. It was about Internet and website design. I had great passion and dream to grow the blog. After several months of blogging, I got extremely low traffic and almost none of them are from search engines. I lost confident. I lost my passion. I had no energy to continue with my blog as the result and return were terrible. At the end, I decided to stop my blog and leave it there without any update.

My Mind Was Refreshed

After several months quitting from blogging, I discover the beauty of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Then I started learning the fundamental knowledge of SEO. The process was not smooth as the information is overload. Some experts recommended to do it this way but others said it was better to implement it another way. I was confused that time and it took me some time to figure it out. During the process, I have been thinking how to apply general SEO knowledge in WordPress blog.

Thousands Of Visitors From Search Engines

Until end of year 2008, I made my mind clear and wanted to teach and help people to optimize their website in order to increase subscribers, sales and improve business. So I have decided to start my new SEO and targeted traffic generation blog. I launched my new blog in mid January of 2009. I continueously apply WordPress SEO techniques to new blog right from the first day. Within a couple of days of the launch, the traffic started flowing in from various search engines. Today I have thousands of visitors coming from Google by searching 1700 different keywords. All of this happens just 2 months after launch.
