Inbound Links Building

Inbound links are one of the most important factors for high search engine rankings. If your website doesn’t have enough incoming links, then it’s very difficult to get good rankings for a competitive keyword or phrase.

There are good and bad inbound links. Here are several points you should consider during the link bulding process to make the inbound link perfect.

1. Use Keyword In The Link Anchor Text

Anchor text is the text you used to link to your web page. If you want to get high rankings for a particular keyword or phrase, then you should make the link to your website with exactly same wording in the anchor text. If not exactly the same, at least make the anchor text contains keyword or phrase you want to rank.

2. Get Link From A Relevant Page

Inbound links from related web pages usually work better than links from unrelated websites. Search engines such as Google check for relevancy when it comes to link evaluation. Incoming links from unrelated web pages still count but their weights are much more lower than related web pages.

3. Build Link To Relevant Page On Your Site

It’s good to include internal links building as part of your SEO strategy. Google not only consider external links but it also looking for internal links during the search engine ranking evaluation. Make sure you include keywords or phrases in your internal link anchor text.

4. Get Link From Authority Site

Incoming links from high authority site certainly help to boost your rankings in search engines especially those websites with high PageRank. Authority sites are those websites that have been established for quite a while and usually have high search engine rankings. Be careful those websites with fake PageRank which I mentioned in my earlier post when you’re choosing authority site.

5. Make Sure Link Must Not Have Nofollow Attribute

Nofollow is an attribute in the link tag that tells search engines not to follow a link. Inbounds links with nofollow attribute don’t help your rankings. Make sure the links pointing to your website don’t have such attribute.

Conclusion

If you’ve 10 good incoming links, then you’ll get better search engine rankings than with 50 bad incoming links. So be sure to get right kind of links, else you will waste your effort.

Nice list! These are some good rules to follow to make sure you spread the link juice across your own blog, and to make sure you get link juice from other blogs.
