I have heard of Akismet since it’s installed by default with Wordpress, but I hadn’t heard of the wp-spamfree plugin. I’ll check it out.

I disagree. You will lose a lot of link juices if they are hundreds or thousands of links in your comments. And eventually it will hurt your Page Rank.

I’m glad to hear that Akismet works to stop some of the spammy comments. This is the first I’ve heard of the “Bad Behavior” plugin. Thanks for the info.
